Using the Entity Framework to create a connection to a Tabular model instead of a cube

Is there a way to build a connection string that would allow connection to a tabular model?

This is the connectionString as is:

"Provider=MSOLAP.5;Integrated Security=SSPI;Persist Security Info=True;Initial Catalog=My_Catalog;
Data Source=../My_File.bism;MDX Compatibility=1;Safety Options=2;MDX Missing Member Mode=Error"

Yes, there is.

Your connection string is probably fine, just add "cube=<YourCubeNameHere>;" into it. You can find your cube name in your tabular Project Properties > Deployment Server > Cube Name.
Note: you can build and verify your connection string using Visual Studio (BIDS) Server Explorer > Add Connection... wizard.

This is the connection string that we used for our testing of SSAS Tabular queries:
"Cube=Model;Provider=MSOLAP.5;Data Source=grand-tablet\Tabular;Integrated Security=SSPI;Initial Catalog=TabularProject1"

Please let us know in case this information did not help.
